Local Group of Friends of the Earth 

Our much loved and valued group co-ordinator Hilary Griffiths died in May 2017.  She is greatly missed. Hilary lived in Woking and was the main driving force for the group in that area.  As the majority of the group’s active members are now based in Waverley district (i.e. around Godalming, Farnham, Haslemere and Cranleigh) the group has decided with regret that it does not have the resources to campaign across such a large geographical area and will have to re-organise and focus efforts on Waverley. Waverley Friends of the Earth is currently being formed and will be launched shortly.
